"Customer beware, i got home and auto insurance through these guys 1/5/26. A little over a month later i was on the SF app messing around (getting familiar with the app) and i noticed my homeowners status was under "company cancelled". They did not provide notice of any kind, which is illegal. I wouldnt have known the status if i wasnt messing around with the app. I reached out to SF about it and they told me its "cancelled" but doesnt cancel until 4/24/26 and i had until that date to get "gutters" cleared (leaffilter) and extend handrailing. I received an email from SF 3/2/26 stating i have a refund coming due to "company cancelled". I reached out again and they claimed i still had until 4/24/26 before it cancelled yet the status remained under "company cancelled" and they still sent a refund. They never even gave me a deadline after the underwriter came out to get the handrail done. The repairs were in the process of being done yet they still cancelled my homeowners without required notice. I have documentation of these conversations that are date/time stamped that i will be giving to Nebraska Department of Insurance with my complaint."
